Who Is Akiyama Mio?

Akiyama Mio is a shy girl from the anime K-ON! She is left handed and plays bass guitar. She gets excellent grades in school but gets afraid of lots of things (horror stories and vice versa..). She gets embarrassed easily and her best friend Ritsu and teacher Sawako-sensei teases her a lot and they always try to make her cosplay (Yui does that too). She is the second vocalist in the group (she was the main vocalist at the beginning of the series), bassist of the band and she also writes the songs for the band.
